The longer the fight goes on, the less manageable it'll be with the stupid pot thing reshuffling your heroes' positions. I don't have much to add getting Heroes that can hit past the pot, making sure to deal as much damage as possible in the first turn and making sure you don't prolong the fight needlessly is the trick. It's an encounter designed to meat-grind first time players and push them further into debt as soon as it does, and then get steamrolled 4 hours later after players went to Google. And unless you're gifted with divine foresight, odds are you were either lucky or died against it the first time since it's so reliant on a VERY specific set of skills and a VERY specific party make-up that can hit past rank 3.
Clearly it isn't, because a lot of people have mentioned it already.
I hate it when people reply with, "it's the easiest thing since X".
